Hey everyone! Its been a while. I hope you all had an awesome winter and that your Summer is off to a great start!
Last winter wasn’t the best year for snow-sports but, as always, I made the best of it and that isn’t too hard to do at China Peak! No matter what the weather is like the mountain keeps a smile on my face. The “Park Crew” setup a rad course for my 2nd annual Grind Out Hunger Rail Jam competition! It was because of that awesome competition that i was able to hit my $10,000 donation goal!
Big THANKS to all of my sponsors and supporters that have helped me and Grind Out Hunger change lives. None of this would have happened without you, yes YOU… the person reading this Blog this very second! Thank You. 🙂
Now on to summer! Getting back into my cross-training surfing, skating (thanks to the help of super rad hunger fighters Logan Frank, Colby Phillips, Bucky, and Zane Keith) at home in Santa Cruz. Looking forward to Mountain Biking China Peak and Wake Boarding Sierra lakes along with hiking & swimming.
Thanks FitAid for keeping me powered up! If you haven’t heard of FitAid you will…Go grab some at Grind Out Hunger HQ!
Im getting hyped up to head to High Cascade at the end of July and August! I will be gone for about a month, shredding Mt. Hood’s glacier-goodness. I’m so excited to get my snowboard back under my feet, especially my new SC board. If you’re looking for a sick new snowstick for 2013/2014 check out the Santa Cruz Snowboards “Love is Scary” board (It’s been good to me)!
As for my summer Hunger Fighter business im working on coordinating another end of Summer event at China Peak. Im also planning on helping at Grind Out Hunger HQ on 41st Ave in Santa Cruz. If anyone has any event/fundraising ideas let me know! I’m open for some team work here!
Well, that’s what’s been going on in my crazy little world. Hope you all are well and thanks again for supporting my GOH campaign. See you all soon!
