Hey Hunger Fighters! Marissa Hushaw here,
With Summer coming to a close and school at Aptos High now in session, it’s time to wrap up my summer campaign and start preparing for snow season. I’m stoked to announce that I exceeded my Summer goal by raising 4,050 meals for kids, and I’d like to DOUBLE that amount for Winter, so I’m setting my new goal at 8,000 meals. Now that we’re inching closer to snowboarding season, it’s time to assemble for a mission…
Operation: Clean The Peak is going down September 15th, 9:00 am at China Peak Mountain. This mission is to clean up our Earth, in preparation for the upcoming snow season. Think about it, who wants to ride trash instead of snow? We are meeting up at the base of chair one for “debriefing” and then going to hike down the mountain collecting trash. Let’s clean the peak!
Here are some details:
• Person who collects MOST trash gets FREE entry to my 2013 Grind Out Hunger Rail Jam + a Lift Ticket for that day!
• Everyone who shows up gets 1/2 off registration price for my 2013 Grind Out Hunger rail jam.
• First 5 who show up for Operation: Clean the Peak will be given secret “prize bags”
• Any dontaion of $1 or more gets ONE extra name entry for my Grind Out Hunger Rail Jam raffle this winter, so donate to increase your chances to win epic swag from the sponsors on the flyer!!!
Hope to see you all there!
